2 跌死馬橋

傳說當年古道商旅自基隆騎馬至此，因
木橋狹窄而爭道，馬匹體力疲弱、腳力
不堪負荷，致跌落橋下，故得名。

遠望坑親水公園

交通：由台2線濱海公路南下，過了澳底進入福隆之前，右側台塑加油站叉路處轉入台2丙線公路，車行 The Legend of the Silver Grass
1.3公里至土地公廟前，左轉進入草嶺古道再行1.1公里，來到路旁一座仿「都鐸式」建築的木製公

廁，此處便是親水公園入口。親水公園並設有停車場可供遊客停車，若由福隆出發，只需5分鐘車
程即可到達。從北二高下石碇交流道，接106號公路，然後到平溪，再接台二丙線公路往東北角國
家風景區方向走，可避開塞車路段，也可欣賞沿途鄉野的怡人景色。

地理： 遠望坑是一個北向開口的V型谷地，遠望坑溪流貫其中，流向為南南東往北北西，至遠望坑口流入
山海間的古道記憶

特色： 園內有步道、溪瀑、涼亭與荷花池、兒童
戲水區，面積約1公頃。東臨遠望坑溪，
有水聲淙淙；西鄰農家梯田，有田埂層 Horse-Falling-to-Death Bridge

Profile of the Park

Traffic: Driving along Tai-Two coastal highway north to south, between Aodi and Fulong, fell from the bridge, thus giving the bridge
one can turn right by the gas station and drive for another 1.3 km to reach the Earth God
its current name.
Temple. Turning left into the Caoling Historical Trail, travel for another 1.1 km to reach an
imitation Tudor-style building which is a public toilet and the water park entrance. Parking
is available inside the water park, and it takes only five minutes drive from Fulong. The
alternative route is to drive along the #106 Highway, and connect to Tai-Two Bing at Pingxi.
Landscape: Yuanwangkeng is an open V-shaped valley to the north, with
Yuanwangkeng River flowing through the valley from the southeast to the northwest.
Distinguishing Features: Convenient and well-paved trails give access to streams,
waterfalls, pavilions, lotus pools and water playing areas for children. The one-hectare park
is surrounded by mountains and fields. It provides a retreat away from the bustle of the
outside world.
