沙雕創作步驟

Procedures for creating sand sculpture

1 板模堆沙作業開始

製作大型沙雕的工程浩大，有時猶如建造房屋般的規模，表現出萬丈高樓
平地起的建築毅力及氣勢。在堆沙作業之前，勘驗地形、挑選場地、估算尺寸
面積、整地、打地基等準備工作皆須一步一步進行。

Start from piling sand on the plate

A large sand sculpture requires a great deal of work just like the perseverance
and patience to build a house. Therefore, it is extremely important to inspect the area,
choose the location, measure the area, prepare the ground, and lay the foundations.

2 大型沙座堆作完成

大型沙雕高度較高，因此要有穩固的地基增加其承載力，堆沙時就得借
助建築用的「模板」。在模板和粗鐵絲的輔助下進行填沙、灌水，使所有的

沙都能飽含水分，並使用「震動器」（WAKKER）將細沙夯實，直到完成這
層模板高度的填沙工作為止。
Block large sand heap

A large sand sculpture requires a rock-steady foundation to enhance its bearing
capacity. Therefore, architect templates are needed while blocking sand heaps. With
templates and hog wires, you can start to fill the sand, flood with water to saturate the
sand, and use the wekker to fix the sand until you reach the desired height.
