Fulfillment

After eight successful years in a
row, the 2010 Silver Grass Season
Festival cooperated with an artist:
inviting nationally well-known
watercolorist Wang Jie to paint
some of the popular scenes along
芒花
Caoling Historical Trail. Wang The Legend of the Silver Grass
Jie painted the Tiger Inscription,
‧ 拾穗
Wukou Pavilion and the Siong
Jhen Man Yan Inscription. With a
124 casual, simple and cozy style of 125
watercolor painting, the festival

aimed to provide a romantic and
poetic aura for this year. As usual,
the host unit, Northeast and Yilan
Coast Administration held a series
─ 草嶺古道尋幽行
of activities and games during the
festival. This year these included a
Driftwood Art Gallery , collecting
stamps for souvenirs, a photograph
