            The Caoling Historical Trail is located between Yuanwangkeng, Gongliao Town,
 ʆЇჃૐѦፋ˥ʮ෤ʘ༩ࢰdΌ೻3.3ʮԢdቇᕊ࢕Ν༷f̚༸
            Taipei County and Dali, Toucheng Town, Ilan County.  It served as the main route
 ɪٙɛ˖፲༦˸˜ඪᕄᝇ๧™ᅙ၃ၾ˜ډο຦™௰ഹΤdՉ˼
            between Taipei and Yilan for previous generations and is the remains of the
 ֠Ϟൻϥ৵዗eɺήʮॗe܄಍፲ѧʿẉɹ૭ڤf  Danshuei-to-Lanyang Pathway that dates back to the Qing Dynasty. The
            Caoling Historical Trail is eight and a half kilometers long and can be traversed in
 ӊϋɤɓ˜d͍ு̚༸ɪԅڀၛ׳ٙ֙ືdԅڀί߇૭ٙं๝
            three to four hours, starting either from Yuanwangkeng to Dali (north to south) or
 ʕࢺࢺක̈ͣЍڀഔdض௄ԅণѰ༸dვͣڀऎᎇࠬศϝdߕ
            from Dali to Yuanwangkeng (south to north).  Visitors can also start from Fulong,
 ʔ௷ϗfӊϋٙவࡈࣛືd؇̏ԉ࿬֝ᚆࠬ၍ஈேึᑘ፬ၪಂ
            Hu-Zi Mountain, pass through Yuanwangkeng, and arrive in Dali.  Every
 ߒɓࡈ˜ٙ˜ণᏊ̚༸ԅڀ֙™dʦϋቇுܔ਷ϵϋdɰ݊ԅڀ֙ٙɤ඄ϋᅅdतйપ̈˜ԅڀhܽ
            November when the northeast wind starts blowing, the green mountains and
 ᐦ™ٙݺਗ˖܁จ൥dಂૐ˸ɤϋϞϓٙ෥တ฿ׂd੭ჯɽ࢕ɓΝ᜗᜕؇̏ԉٙ߇˚ߕ౻dίԮա؇̏  valleys are gradually covered with gently swaying white silver grasses.  This
 ԉᔮబٙІ್͛࿒ၾɛ˖ᖵஔᚧ࢖ٙΝࣛdɰঐชաՑᕿ̚Ꮄඩٙဘݺ;ඝࣛΈf  transforms the trail into a romantic pathway with both sides full of dazzling silver
            grasses blowing in the breeze.  Under the innovative planning of the Northeast



























            and Yilan Coast Administration, the tenth Silver Grass Season Festival in 2011 was
            a nostalgic journey, a magical trip beyond time and space, or even a fictional
            fantasy for the future.  The unique festival attracts tens of thousands of visitors
            who come along to enjoy the yearly fall banquet and the special combination
            of natural beauty and culturally important landmarks, events and histories.
