結合自然與人文的秋日饗宴

金黃的秋日，正是芒花的春天，整個山谷滿佈銀白的芒花，美麗的花穗，仰挺於
颯颯的東北寒風中，隨風舞動翻飛，宛如海浪一般。天外舒雲清風，潔然怡人，而
「草嶺古道芒花季」活動的舉辦，讓民眾能體驗東北角豐富的自然生態與人文歷史，
並享受悠然自得的休閒時光。
草嶺古道位於新北市貢寮區遠望坑及宜蘭縣頭城鎮大里間的山區，為臺灣目前僅
存清朝所遺兩條古道之一，管理處舉辦的「草嶺古道芒花季」向來是東北角秋冬廣獲
好評的指標活動，自2002年開辦以來，遊客人數每年穩定成長，至近兩年，遊客數平
均約7~9萬人，可說是近年來各地掀起「芒花」、「古道」熱潮的重要推手，此外，
並帶動地方觀光產業，促進地方經濟發展。

芒花十年─「芒花‧拾穗」，適逢民國百年，於是特別結合「台灣好行─黃金福
芒花
隆線」，並以「東北角人間三道：古道、步道、鐵馬道」為主軸，搭配周邊遊憩資 The Legend of the Silver Grass
‧ 拾穗
源，如：國家地質公園步道、舊草嶺隧道環狀線自行車道等，邀大家一起來舒筋活
骨、舒壓減「嘆」、保健身心。尤其東北角活動強調「自然」，響應「環保」，從活
動造景到整體環境，都秉持著健康自然的理念，大家來到東北角不但能體驗輕鬆愉悅
6 的遊憩經驗，更能把健康帶回家，相當符合現代人對休閒養生的雙重需求！ 7

Trail is currently one of the two ancient trail remains from the Qing Dynasty. For leisure
and educational purposes, every November since 2002, the Administration holds an
annual festival for the silver grass season. It’s a festival combining natural, ecological
and cultural history activities, attracting nearly a hundred thousand visitors in recent
years. Last year (2011) was the tenth year of the festival. In addition to celebrating the

100 year of ROC, the festival was even more eco-planned. From the design of leisure

eco-awareness is no more a slogan, but what is being practiced. This book records Director of the Administration, Hsu Zheng Long
the history of the Caoling Historical Trail for the last ten years. It includes nature and
animal ecology, cultural relics and activities. Looking forward to the next ten years, we’ll
try our best to preserve the beauty of the northeast coast so that future generations will
have the chance to enjoy and appreciate the same beauty as we do today.
