沙雕是一項概念簡單、接受度高、具備親和力的藝術創作，體積巨大的沙雕作品視覺衝擊力
強，並能與活動場地結合，充分展現地景之美，加上時尚藝術與休閒娛樂的鋪陳，非常適合用來
行銷在地特色、促進觀光旅遊。今年邁入第 9 年的福隆國際沙雕藝術季，在政府、民間的協力帶

動下，不僅成為國內年度活動的焦點，更躍上世界舞台，成為國際級藝術交流盛宴！
近年來，觀光局積極推動兼具環保及在地特色的觀光活動，營造臺灣觀光亮點，有效吸引外
國旅客來臺，去年更已經邁入千萬觀光大國的時代。而福隆國際沙雕藝術季經過多年的努力耕耘，
成功的在世界上打出屬於自己的品牌，讓沙雕文化在東北角福隆獨有的黃金沙灘上立足深耕，吸

引更多國際遊客透過沙雕看見屬於臺灣的美好，堪稱是臺灣特色觀光活動的良好典範。
福隆國際沙雕藝術季不但有利於臺灣宣傳行銷、提升觀光競爭力，沙雕活動所體現的自然美
與環保意識，可以凸顯地方特色並契合永續發展的目標。期待本活動效益能夠發揚蔓延，引領國
內外遊客欣賞福隆的海洋風光、體驗黃金沙灘的美麗與熱情！

Join the world-class grand art festival in Fulong
Sand art is the practice of modeling sand into an artistic form based on simple concepts. Spectacular giant
sand sculptures displayed on the beach always leave deep visual impressions and demonstrate beauty of the
landscapes. As a major tourist attraction combining fashionable art and recreation, sand sculpture has been used
to promote local features and tourism industry. Now in its ninth year, the Fulong International Sand Sculpture
Festival is renowned as the best sand-sculpting event not only in Taiwan but also in the globe.
The Tourism Bureau has been actively promoting a series of sightseeing activities which attract a huge
crowd from the world in recent years. Taiwan has successfully become a powerhouse that attracts more than 10
million visitors last year due to its tourist-friendly environment and tourism activities with local features. Fulong
International Sand Sculpture Art Festival has been growing in popularity in recent years. The sand sculpting festival
on Fulong’s gorgeous stretch of golden sand beaches on the northeast coast has drawn countless people from
different countries in the world to experience the passion and vitality of the coast.
In addition to promoting Taiwan and raising its international visibility in the world, Fulong International Sand
Sculpture Art Festival also presents this island’s local features as well as sustainable development goals through
the beauty of nature and environmental awareness behind the activity. We wish this grand annual event can lead
visitors from home and abroad to admire Fulong’s spectacular coastal scenery and the beauty and passion of the
golden sand beaches.
