拉托維亞沒有太多的天然資源，沒有山、峽谷、沙漠或噴泉，也沒有耳熟能詳的歷史遺跡，甚至
沒有大型的軍隊，民眾是以和平的方式從蘇聯取得了獨立。雖無太多天然資源，但有著純淨的環
境，沒有地震、大水或海嘯。其獨特的地理位置讓四季充滿了魔幻般美麗的差異，是在絕大多數
的歐洲國家所無法體驗的。春天，自然甦醒了綠葉並將大地鋪滿了花朵；夏天，人們歡慶著森林
和草原的豐收；秋天，森林到處充滿了彩虹般的顏色；而冬天，大地如同童話般覆蓋滿白雪。這
就是我的國家，最真實的拉托維亞。
Latvia doesn't have valuable natural resources, no mountains, canyons, deserts, geysers or a warm
sea, nor does it have magnificent historical monuments. We don't even have a huge army. The
people regained their independence through peaceful resistance. We have an ecologically clean
environment, without damaging floods, earthquakes, tornados, tsunami or other cataclysms. Our
four seasons and their magical differences, most of which is impossible to experience elsewhere
in Europe. Nature wakes up in the Spring, thrives leaves of trees and land covers with flowers. In
Summer, forests and meadows bear harvest and the people rejoice. At Autumn forests will shine in
all colors of the rainbow. In Winter the nature is covered in crystal-clear white snow and the world
will look like a fairy tale. This is my country, this is the real Latvia.
