我一向很欣賞老鷹的力量，威嚴與獨立。我想透過緊緊抓住無助的魚兒猛然飛衝出水面的老鷹來
表現此三種特點。

I have always admired the strength, majesty and independence of the eagles. In this sculpture I try
to capture those qualities with an Eagle dashing out of water with a fish caught in it claws.

ӍᎉࢪᔊʧjBouke Atema過去的得獎紀錄相當豐富，不但曾在2011年世界沙雕單人及雙人組一舉奪牌，
也是同年美國佛州沙雕賽的季軍，更在2010年囊獲多項歐洲國家沙雕賽事的前三名。 Bouke Atema's past
competitions included: World championship sand sculpting solo/double competition 2011, Fort Myers Florida
International sand sculpting competition 2011, Virginia Beach USA international sand sculpting competition,
Kolmarden Sweden international sand sculpting competition 2010, Netherlands Noordwijk international sand
sculpting competition 2010.

在這作品裡，我將沙灘刻劃成海浪般。沙灘上面及波浪間層之中可以看到許多垃圾，就像一個複
雜的機器般內部雜七雜八。我希望透過這個作品來提醒大家，地球並不是一個機器，我們每個人
隨意丟棄的每件垃圾都會污染她。

We see a part of the beach that "opens up" in a wavy kind of way. As you can see the top part
is full of garbage. Because the waves ripple uneven we can see under the surface. We see a big
complicated machine. Don't be fooled, the earth is not a machine and it will be affected by every
piece of garbage that we carelessly throw away.
