Sand sculptures are composed via compiling the
sand and molding their shapes by digging, carving,
and building before creating fascinating art works.
Sand sculptures, made of sand and water from our Family
environment and displayed in a giant size to blend
with the surrounding environment, present a harmony
combining the natural landscapes and man-made
creations. Therefore, it is also considered an art form
which promotes the awareness of environmental
protection and nature.
Generally, children playing in the sand in a park
or at school are considered engaging in a form of sand
sculpture activity. It is common to see people spending
their family time with their children doing a lot of fun
activities with sand at the beach. The popularity of
sand-related activities makes sand carving one of the
most favorite activities in the tourism industry.

The Fulong International Sand Sculpture Art
Festival, held for years, always attracts a huge crowd Environmental
