The annual event on this island, 2017 Fulong International
Sand Sculpture Art Festival has entered the 10th year and also
created numerous magnificent records in the history of sand
sculpture on this island. With its great success over a decade, it
has attracted people over the world to appreciate the artworks
at Fulong Beach since its opening this year.
The closing ceremony of this year's event is expected to
be held at 3 o'clock in the afternoon on July 16th. Apart from
the closing ceremony, there will also be dancing performance
and a series of activities based on the theme-'Return to Nature-
Golden Sand Last Forever' to meet a successful conclusion of
the 10th anniversary of Fulong International Sand Sculpture
Art Festival. The display period of next year's event also be
announced in May 5th 2018 at the closing ceremony.
Since many people wish to touch the actual sand
sculptures instead of just looking at these stunning pieces, the
organizer this year has designed an interactive sand sculpture
area with three sand sculptures- 'sunbathing with a werewolf',
'Auntie Tigress and the witch', 'the false god and captain' for
visitors to touch or hold them. Visitors who join the closing
ceremony will also be invited to have fun with sand sculptures
to create some wonderful memories at Fulong Beach.
