Glorious Caoling Tunnel overcoming

obstacles of nature

草嶺隧道，位於福隆車站至石城車站間，隧道口全部以紅磚建構，整
體造型簡單，沒有華麗隧道，匾額題字寫著「制天險」，草嶺隧道在
日本時代是臺灣最長的火車洞。

Caoling Tunnel is located between Fulong Station and Shicheng Station. The entrances
ඟͼΤ၈ of this tunnel are made of red bricks with simple style. There is an inscription -
ࣚБ٫ 'overcoming obstacles of nature' on the Fulong side. Caoling Tunnel used to be the
