Online application for island landing

Instructions when applying for island landing

  1. Island closure information will be announced on this website before 5 p.m. the day before the island closes, without further notice.
  2. The deadline for online applications for same-day island landing is 2:30 pm.
  3. After completing the island landing application, please fill in the landing roster and bring the roster and a valid identity document or certificate with a photo when landing on the island to confirm your identity. Click here to download the form.
  4. Application time is from 8 am to 10 pm daily.
  5. Fees are charged to land on the island. Please contact the vessel operator approved by the headquarters with queries on vessel and journey fees.

Statement of consent for the collection, processing and use of personal data:

  • The headquarters handles various activities in accordance with the Act for the Development of Tourism and obtains the personal information of visitors: name, contact information (phone, e-mail) for the purpose of "Application for landing on Guishan Island" related operations, and in accordance with personal data protection provisions and relevant laws and regulations. This data will not be transferred for other purposes without the consent of the parties concerned, nor will any information be published, and the office will adhere to its personal information preservation and security control management measures to ensure the collection, processing and use of personal information is accurate, appropriate and safe.
  • In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act, individuals can at any time inquire about the personal information the office has collected on them, request supplementary information or corrections, the stopping of collection, processing or use, request access, a copy and deletions (if it is part of the duties of the headquarters or necessary for business, the office may reject such requests). For inquiries or requests to access personal information or to make copies, the office may charge fees in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

Applications for island landing

  • Island landing balance inquiry

    Note: Each group can be a maximum of 45 people including the leader

  • 401 Highland balance inquiry

    Note: applications to climb Highland 401 can only be made at 08:30 and 10:30.

  • Aerial photography balance inquiry
    Notice:
    1. Since Guishan Island is a legally prohibited and restricted area, applications are limited to government agencies (institutions), schools or legal entities (based on the provisions of Paragraph 3, Article 99-13 of the Taiwan Civil Aviation Act)
    2. For aerial photography of Guishan Island, go to the website of the Civil Aviation Administration, MOTC to apply. The Civil Aviation Administration will give you a set of 12-digit numbers. Please send an application letter first (state the date and purpose of the aerial photography and the number) When you come to our headquarters, we will accept the application based on whether it is in the public interest or helps promote tourism and avoids Wednesdays and holidays. After receiving an approval letter from the headquarters, check the box to apply for aerial photography.
