為配合當年度由觀光局推動的「觀光拔尖領航」方案，福隆沙
雕季的作品以「拔尖」、「築底」、「提升」三大主軸，化概
念為一座座「觀光拔尖領航」的作品，相當具有指標性意義。
除了配合主題呈現的「東北角集錦沙雕群」外，另有大型的
「沙雕迷宮」供遊客探險，趣味性與話
題十足，成功創下福隆海水浴場10年來
的入園人數新高，周邊產業的營收更因
此提高了3成之多！

The 2009 Fulong Sand Sculpture
Festival was classified as ‘Top Notch ኳ
Tourism’ by the Tourism Bureau. There
were many themes in the artworks, 臺灣最早的沙雕活動可以追溯回1989年，地點在東北角的鹽寮
such as the Navigation of Top Notch 地區，當時就曾廣邀國內外沙雕好手共同創作。睽違多年後，
Tourism, Snapshots of the Peculiar 直到2008年夏天，東北角暨宜蘭風管處再度重新推出「福
Scenery of the Northeast Coast, and 隆沙雕藝術季」的活動，讓久違了的沙雕身影又重回福隆海
the Seeking of Treasure in the Maze. 灘，藉由一座座動人的沙雕作品，連結起海沙與手作的記
憶，喚回世人的目光，並展現福隆海邊最美麗的風景。
The one month event successfully won
the spotlight of the Tourism Bureau and 2008 Welcome to the Blue Fulong
set a further record of most admissions;
enhancing the local sightseeing industry Taiwan's first sand sculpture event originated in the northeast corner
by up to thirty percent! of Yenliao in 1989. It invited the participation of many domestic and
international sculptors. After a gap of nineteen years, in the summer
of 2008 the sand sculpture festival was held again. It showcased
Fulong Beach's beautiful scenery as well as demonstrating the
connection between people and nature.
