今年（2012）最新一屆的福隆沙雕藝術季，更突破
以往的規格，廣邀來自美國、加拿大、日本、荷蘭、
拉脫維亞、新加坡、中國大陸等國際級沙雕大師同台
較勁，再加上臺灣在地的專業沙雕團隊，一共動用了
5,000噸細沙，聯手打造44件沙雕作品，包括3座超級
大沙雕、18座中型沙雕及23座小型沙雕，數量與規模
再度改寫國內沙雕歷史紀錄。

The latest festival made a new record by using
five thousand tons of sand and creating forty four
creations. These included three huge sized works,
eighteen medium
sized and twenty
three small sized
creations. Sand
sculpting experts
f r o m t h e U S ,
Canada, Japan,
the Netherlands,
Latvia, Singapore,
and China were
invited to Fulong
t o e x c h a n g e
views and work
together.
