Exposure of the Festival
At this year, The 2011 Fulong Sand Sculpture Art Festival (also Taiwan’s
100 anniversary) created several records. It had the most sand
th
sculpture creations, invited the most international sculptors from
worldwide, was the longest festival at two-months long and had more
than three hundred and fifty thousand visitors in total. It is our hope that
through recreational activities people can get to know the beauty of
the land and cherish our local culture more. The promotion of the
festival through press media started in April 2011 and continued until the
end of the festival. There were numerous press releases and the media
exposure greatly increased the popularity of the event while indirectly
enhanced the growth of local industries.
