因為我本身從事佛像雕刻多年，不同於廟宇中常見
的木雕或泥塑，我覺得沙雕也是一個很好的表現
素材。這次的題目是「迎媽祖」，因為媽祖是臺灣
最具代表性的宗教信仰之一，也是眾人的心靈依
歸，希望藉由這次的作品給臺灣帶來和平的力量。

I have been working on carving Buddha statues for years.
Sand is also a good material to present the art of sculpting
other than wooden sculpture or clay sculpture. Matsu
Festival is the topic for this year because Matsu plays a
specific role in religious affairs in Taiwan. Since Matsu has
become a patron for Taiwanese people, we hope our work
can also bring the power of peace to everyone on this land.

夫妻合力雕琢出臺灣人的心靈信仰中心，
精巧細膩的廟宇慢慢成形！

A detailed temple was carved by a couple to
present Taiwanese people’s religion.

對整體雕塑做細部的裝飾雕工，表現出媽
祖的慈藹雍容的神韻。
Many details are carved on the sculpture to show
Matsu’s kindly and amiable facial expressions.
